Privacy policy

Packia Nirma Guna Sekar, trading as Hilver ("we"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

  • Details you give us when you order or contact us: name, phone number, email, and delivery address.
  • Order details: what you bought, when, and how you paid. Card and UPI details are handled by Razorpay and never reach us.
  • Technical data your browser sends when you visit: device, pages viewed, and cookies that keep your cart working.

Why we use it

To take, deliver and support your order, to answer your messages, to meet our legal and tax obligations, and, only if you agree, to send you news about new pieces. We never sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers who help us run the store: Shopify (our store platform), Razorpay (payments), and our courier partners (to deliver your order). Each may process your data only to provide that service.

How long we keep it

For as long as needed to fulfil your order and meet legal record-keeping requirements (generally up to 8 years for tax records), after which we delete it.

Keeping it safe

We keep your data on Shopify's servers, reach the store only through accounts protected by two-step verification, and give staff access only to what their work needs. Payment details never touch our systems. No system is perfect, so if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India without delay.

If you are under 18

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, anyone under 18 is a child. If you are under 18, please order only with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian, and ask them to place the order or to use the payment link we send. We do not knowingly process a child's personal data without verifiable parental consent, we never track or profile children, and we never direct advertising at them. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we hold your child's data without your consent, write to hilver925@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent to marketing at any time, and nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. Write to hilver925@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
